Helen Sellers

Professor Helen Sellers died this week at the age of 95. She came to the English Department in the Fall of 1947 and retired in 1974. Her specialty was modern literature and she continued to attend literary and musical events after she retired. She is remembered as a teacher both fair and demanding, a quiet and reserved person well-liked by students and colleagues.
