Students were encouraged to “saddle up” with the Wife of Bath in Eve Salisbury and Greg Laing’s British literature class last Wednesday. A mock pilgrimage—led by the Knight with his “Got Armor” emblem—captured the spirit of Chaucer’s
Canterbury Tales as the company made its way from Dunbar 2210 to a conference room in Friedmann. Students took the initiative in approximating medieval garb, creating devices, and carrying banners and signs to commemorate the symbolic event.
