New Issues poet Diane Seuss learned on April 3rd that she won the University of Massachusetts Press Juniper Prize for Poetry, judged by Pulitzer-prize-winner James Tate. Her collection of poetry, called "Wolf Lake, White Gown Blown Open," will be published in Spring 2010; its title mirrors the name of her first book (for New Issues) called
It Blows you Hollow. A new poem by Seuss will debut at Kalamazoo College's Founders' Day event on April 24. She is the K-College Writer-In-Residence.
